Just before Christmas, we had a craft day at the soup kitchen.
We traced a basic angel template for the kids to color and decorate as they wished.
Then they cut out their angel and glued it to a toilet paper roll.
The toilet paper roll gave it some structure, as well as made it possible to use the angel as a tree topper or to set it on the table like a figurine.
Our little angels sure seemed to enjoy this simple Christmas craft. It’s a great reminder that it doesn’t take much more than a little creativity and some basic supplies for some crafty fun and smiles all around.
