Just when I thought the Paraguayan Easter Bunny only left bottle cap eggs, I showed up at the soup kitchen to find eggs hidden everywhere. Beautiful, hand-painted, colorful eggs!
So we rounded the kids up to explain the situation and they were ecstatic! Once let loose they hunted down all 65 eggs that were hiding around the yard, on windowsills, in flower boxes, plants and trees.
And then after lunch we each got our own pretty egg to eat or admire as we pleased.
It was a fun, special day for everyone searching for those huevos escondidos (hidden eggs)!
