If that title doesn’t have you salivating like a puppy, we are not made from the same stuff. I love chocolate. I love food with a good texture. An interesting twist. A good combination of flavors.
I’m pretty sure these chocolate chunk cookie dough brownies would exceed all those requirements. And best of all they were made by my buddy and fellow Peace Corps Volunteer, Nalena.
You may remember her and her husband Jon as the ones who got married on the exact same day of the exact same year as Isaiah and I. Or the ones who checked in just after us in the little airport in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the day we all flew off and began our Peace Corps journey.
Isaiah and I were lucky enough to spend Thanksgiving Day at their place in Villarica on our way home from our Reconnect training. Just cruise around their food blog and you will be correct to assume that we were well fed. Just like a Thanksgiving should be. And if you can’t be with your family over the holidays, hanging out with good new friends is the way to go. We had a wonderful celebration together.
So click on over to their site to check out the complete recipe if you’re in the mood to whip up a batch of these delectable cookie dough brownies this weekend!
How did you spend Thanksgiving this year? What’s your response to it-wouldn’t-be-Thanksgiving-without _______? Any must have holiday foods or traditions?
