The Easter bunny arrived early in Yuty, Paraguay and seems to be dropping a different kind of egg this year. They’re coming in the form of plastic pop tops left all over the streets and ditches. My eyes are peeled as I walk the town, and I’m collecting up the colored goodies with excitement.
I have plans to clean ‘em up and turn them into game pieces for a homemade Mastermind – a game I remember fondly from my childhood and have taught Isaiah to play. I first whipped up the game pieces out of plain old paper colored with markers, but every time Isaiah snorted with laughter the pieces would go blowing and flying around the table. So, gracias to the Paraguayan Easter Bunny for dropping off this fun new take on an old Easter tradition.
