Family Reunion

We had an exceptional host family during our 2.5 months of Peace Corps training. So when we were in the Asunción area after the entrepreneurship camp the other week, we paid them a visit for a huge Sunday asado (BBQ) and some quality family time.

We even arranged to visit our host dad at his work the next day since he holds the interesting job of Police Chief for the parliament building where government people hold their meetings in Asunción. The tour was great, the view from the top of the roof was quite pretty, and the proud look in our host dad’s eyes as he introduced us to all his co-workers as his hijos (kids) was priceless.
